Fouts Construction Services Chooses Construction Communicator for Multiple Casino Projects
Portland, OR and Fremont, CA – July 14, 2004 – Fouts Construction Services Inc. has selected the Construction Communicator™ online construction-management service (www.constructioncommunicator.com) for casino projects in three states: Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
Construction Communicator enables owners, contractors and architects to post and view Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals and change-order documentation; and allows owners, architects and project managers to view, coordinate and help resolve outstanding issues.
Fouts used the online service to manage contract administration for the 23,000-sq.ft. addition and 56,000-sq.ft. remodeling of Coeur D’Alene Casino in Worley, Idaho. Fouts supplied and installed millwork, including running trim and casework for the casino. Additionally, the company fabricated and installed millwork for a 98-room hotel expansion and new multipurpose and bingo facilities.
Fouts is also using Construction Communicator for work on a 30,000-sq.ft. addition to the Silver Reef Casino in Ferndale, Washington, and for the Three Rivers Casino in Florence, Oregon. Hundreds of RFIs, submittals and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) have been logged in the course of these projects.
